With Subdivide 12, you can re-size your lots to an exact area. For example, suppose you have created a lot that is 0.523 acres in size. With Subdivide 12, you can resize the lot to 0.50 acres "exactly". The lot is rezised by allowing one of its sides to swing or slide until the desired area is reached.
This command is easy to use as well. Once the command is selected it is only a three step process to resize a lot.
1. Click on the lot you want to resize.
2. Click on the side of the lot to swing or slide
3. Enter the new area for the lot.
That's it!
Three resizing methods are available.

|
Sliding Side Method:
This method changes the area of a lot by allowing one side of the lot to slide from side to side until the desired area is reached. |
|

|
Swinging Side Method:
This method is used when you want to change the area of a lot without changing its frontage.
One end of the lot line swings back and forth while the other end remains fixed. |
|
 |
Radial Side Method:
This method is used when the lot you want to resize is on a curve or cul-de-sac. |
