Drawing objects are the items that make up your map. All of these objects can be manually drawn with the mouse. Lines, arcs, and tracts can also be drawn precisely by entering deed data such as a bearing and distance or curve data.
Lines and Arcs
Lines and arcs have the following features and properties.
- They can be drawn with the mouse.
- They can be drawn by entering deed data.
- They can have their own color and linetype.
- They can include arrowheads at either end.

Tracts
A tract is used to draw a lot, parcel, road or any other feature that is made up of several lines and arcs that are connected to each other.
- Automatically calculates area.
- Can be filled with a color or hatched.
- Is usually used to describe a lot or parcel but it can be used to draw other features such as a road, fence, or easement.
- You can have as many tracts (lots) in your drawing as you wish.

Text
There are three types of text that you can use.
Symbols
There are two types of symbols. The "Point" symbols are used for things like lot corners. They automatically re-scale to size whenever the plot scale is changed.
Then there are tree symbols.
