Use this feature to group objects together to make them easier to manage. Once the objects are grouped together, you can work with them as if they are a single item.
The power of grouping
Suppose you want to use the move command to position a house on a lot. Without groups you would have to select the house pad, back deck, pool, and the front porch. If you instead group the objects together, then you only need to click once and they are all selected... ready to be moved.
Groups are very easy to create. Just select the objects that you want to group, then right-click and select "Group".
